Collaboration and Partnerships for Regional Development

CHEC supports the four public universities in the Western Cape to achieve the goals of the Compact for Regional Co-operation. Established in December 2001, the Compact aims to ensure that the Western Cape is a learning region, responsive to the developmental needs of the region, and sensitive to historical realities in promoting equity across its institutions.
